Mintlights, named for the artist's synesthesia, is an acoustic solo project created by Lux Izquierdo while trying to find their place in a new, strange world.
From Queretaro, Mexico, Lux flew 1,783 miles to find themselves in Detroit, Michigan, falling in love with the people, the culture, and the music scene.
With a little help from their favorite artists and bands like the Beatles, Queen, Paramore, Fall Out Boy, and a touch of musical theatre, Mintlights' music style goes beyond coffee shop acoustic music to bring you high energy, pop rock, and feel good music!
